lagrange mean value theorem is one of the most important and widely - applicated theorems in the differential calculus. Thus the discussion and research on the proof of the theorem have been drawing much attention of those who work on mathematics. This paper puts forward the conception and methodology of constructive auxiliary function to prove lagrange mean value theorem from five different angles and also works out the demonstration for each of them.
