The dam site of Baiyekou Reservoir is located in a narrow gorge of Wenyu River reach.Its topography condition is complex and the elevation difference of river valley is obvious.In this paper,the layout principle of control network to survey topography of this dam site and concrete survey method are introduced.By means of the folded linear triangulation chains network methed,the difficult problems that are encountered is survey process are solved,and the good effect is obtained.
