Metal containing conjugated polymers(MCCP)are reviewed including their molecular design,properties and applications in photoelectronic field.Special efforts have been taken in establishing a corelation between the molecular structure of MCCP and their optoelectronic properties.The effects of metal complex intruduction are discussed.These literature works indicated the attractive potential of MCCP as good candidate materials in applications for polymeric light emitting diodes and polymer solar cells,etc.
