In this paper, the database is designed by SQLAnywhere 5.0 and the fault diagnosis fuzzy expert system for the electric power equipment is implemented by PowerBuilder6.5. The method of knowledge representation is fuzzy genetic algorithm. The fuzzy matching and the weighted fuzzy logic are used in fuzzy inference. And the reasoning under uncertainty is implemented in this fuzzy expert system.
