The paper summarizes the main ecological service of wetland, and establishs the computational method of loss of ecological services value by reclamation. Coastal wetland reclamation project of Haimen is calculated as an example. The market-value method, shadow project method,displacement cost method, results of reference method and so on are used to estimate the value loss of wetland ecological service by the reclamation project. The resulet shows that the the total value loss of ecological services of the reclamation project is 2 878.3 million yuan/year,per unit area is 1.87 million yuan/hm~2·year. This study provides a method to calculate coastal wetland ecological service value loss of reclamation. The ecological service value loss provides a basis for analysis the integrated profit and loss of sea reclamation and provides reference for ecological restoration and compensation funds after the project.
