The software package E20-Ⅱ for HVAC, which was developed by Carrier Company of the United States, was introduced. The authors described the composition, function, content of input and output, usage and characteristics of the software package in detail in this paper. Furthermore, taking the New High School Project as an example, the application method of the Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) and the items, to which attention should be paid in applying HAP, are discussed. The results calculated by the software package can meet the requirements of the project.
