以AlCl_3为催化剂,通过CO_2直接羧化邻二甲苯制备了3,4-二甲基苯甲酸,并优化了反应条件.最终优化条件为为:在0.8 MPa~0.9 MPa下,催化剂加入量为邻二甲苯质量的62.13%,温度为50℃,反应时间为12h时,产品产率大于85%,产品纯度为96%.

3,4-dimethylbenzoic acid was synthesized by direct carboxylation of o-xylene with carbon dioxide used A1Cl_3 as catalyst, and the reaction conditions were optimized. The optimal reaction parameters were determined as follows: 0.8 MPa~0.9 MPa, 50℃, reaction time 12 hours, and AlCl_3/o-xylene mass ratio of 62.13%. Under the optimized conditions, the yield of 3,4-dimethylbenzoic acid could be over 85% with the product purity of 96%.
