The efficient synthesis of well-defined block copolymers was very important both for research and industry.This article summarized the methods for the preparation of block copolymers.Examples include anionic,cationic,flee-radical polymerizations,coordination polymerization and other methods that were useful for the preparation of these hybrid materials.In addition,the advantage and disadvantage of each method,and its potential application in industry was described.
