After the traditional frequency analysis method weighting improvement,a quantitative comparison was made between the long hydrologic series and short hydrologic series according to the distribution of the wet years,normal years and dry years,so as to find the most representative sample.This kind of improvement will make the hydrologic data representative analysis more direct-viewing and more reasonable.
