Pretreatment-hydrolysis acidification - A/O - NSBR - coagulation and sedimentation process was used to treat high-concentration organic synthetic pharmaceutical wastewater. When the influ-ent COD, NH_3-N and organic nitrogen are equal to or less than 5 000 mg/L, 100 mg/L and 150 mg/L respectively, the effluent COD and NH_3-N are less than 300 mg/L and 50 mg/L respectively. The ex-pected result is reached.
