隐孢子虫是一种属于顶复门的寄生性肠道原虫,主要寄生于人或动物的消化道上皮并引起腹泻,对公共卫生造成很大威胁.随着近年来分子生物学的迅猛发展,越来越多的基因分型技术因其分辨率、敏感性及特异性较高而被广泛应用于隐孢子虫研究中,进而为追溯传染源、调查传播途径及制定有效干预举措提供重要理论依据.该文就几种主要基于PeR的隐孢子虫基因分型技术的研究进展作一简要综述.

Cryptosporidium,a protozoan of Apicomplexan that invades the gastrointestinal epithelium of humans and a wide variety of animals, causes self-limiting diarrhea but sometimes severe diarrhea in immuno-competent humans thus to pose a significant public health risk. Recently with the development of molecular bi-ology, more and more molecular techniques have been used in genotyping Cryptosporidium due to their high res-olution, sensitivity and specificity. These tools will play an important role in tracking infection sources,charac-terizing the transmission dynamics, and making effective intervention strategies for public health. This review summarized the advances of some PCR-based techniques mainly used in Cryptosporidium genotyping. [ Key words ] Cryptosporidium; Genotyping techniques ; Principle; Application
