医疗器械法严格限制了医用纺织品生产使用的材料以及医用纺织品生产机器的操作环境。德国亚琛工业大学纺织研究所在开发制造适合医用非织造材料的梳理机时已经考虑到这些限制和要求。使用这项非织造材料生产技术，在未来可以生产实验室规模的组织工程支架。

The medical device law lays down strict requirements for the materials used for the production of textile products for medical applications and also on operating conditions for production machines for medical textiles. These restrictions and requirements have been taken into consideration to develop a carding machine for the manufacture of medical compliant nonwovens at the Institut fur Textileehnik, RWTH Aachen University （ITA）. Using this nonwovens production technology, laboratory scale scaffolds for tissue engineering appli- cations will be produced in the future.
