The necessity and importance of teaching reform of plant ecology was described by this paper. During the courses of plant ecology, many Measures of teaching reform were including teaching content, bilingual education and flexible teaching methods. Moreover, the students grasped the basic principles and knowledge of plant ecology, and developed the ability of identifying problems, analyzing problems and problem - solving skills. At the same times, the students also developed creative thinking and ability to think independently. In this way, we have gotten good teaching effects.
