甘玉23号是以自育自交系甘1478为母本、甘3401为父本组配育成的中晚熟玉米杂交种。在甘肃省玉米中晚熟组区域试验中,2007年8点（次）折合平均产量12 501.0 kg/hm2,较对照品种酒试20号减产0.4%;2009年8点（次）折合平均产量12 430.5 kg/hm2,较对照沈单16号增产1.5%。高抗红叶病,抗茎腐病,中抗瘤黑粉病。籽粒（干基）含粗淀粉730.7 g/kg、粗蛋白119.5 g/kg、粗脂肪38.5 g/kg、灰分10.7 g/kg、赖氨酸3.26 g/kg。适宜甘肃省的武威、白银、定西市及海拔1 800 m以下、有效积温2 800℃以上的玉米丝黑穗病非流行区种植。

Ganyu 23 was a new middle-late mature corn variety bred by crossing with the parental combination of Gan 1478 as female,Gan 3401 as male.In 2007,the average yield of Ganyu 23 was 12 501.0 kg/hm2 and 0.4% higher than of the check Jiushi 20 in corn variety region test of Gansu.In 2009,the average yield was 12 430.5 kg/hm2 and 1.5% higher than of the check Shengdan 16.The results showed that seed crude starch,crude protein,crude fat,ash,lysine content were 730.7 g/kg,119.5 g/kg,38.5 g/kg,10.7 g/kg,3.26 g/kg,respectively.In addition,Ganyu 23 was high resistant to red-leaf disease,resistant to stalk rot disease,moderate resistant to common smut.It is suitable to plant in the region of corn head smut non-endemic area of the effective temperature of more than 2 800 ℃,1 800 m above sea level,and in Wuwei Baiyin,Dingxi city of Gansu Province.
