Academic journals are facing the pressure of enterprise restructuring, and the competition of network and new media. In the new market living conditions, academic periodicals must pay equal attention to edition and man- agement, which presents the new requirements for the traditional editors' quality. To meet the needs of the market e- conomy, academic journal editors should make efforts to improve their qualities in planning, innovation, management, marketing, knowledge structure, computer technology, and so on.
