置换修辞手法在莎剧中屡见不鲜,丰富了莎剧的内容,生动了人物的语言,而且英汉语中的置换修辞格大致可以对等。通过对莎剧《仲夏夜之梦》中英语置换修辞格的特征的分析,可以得出转换修饰位置,保留原修饰方法和转换修辞格三种翻译方法。
