Mountainous rivers always have steep slope and swift current, all to navigation -obstructing rapids everywhere. This paper analyzes a variety of navigation - obstructing flow pattern of rocky rapids in mountainous rivers and their water characteristics and the impact on navigation, and proposed regulations for navigation -obstructing rapids.
