康健花园是近30年在美国兴起的园林设计.目前存在缺乏系统理论,难以有效指导实践的困境.因此,急需一套将人与自然相互联系的系统理论用以指导此类设计.中医学有着悠久历史,其基本理念是通过调节人与自然以及人本身的阴阳五行平衡关系以达到治病养生的目的.运用中医学可以指导风景园林师设计出更具疗效的康健花园.对此作一初步探讨,并在此基础上提出康健花园设计的新框架与导则.

Therapeufic garden/landscape design has become a growing area in landscape architecture in recent years.However, landscape architects are faced with certain challenges when it comes to therapeutic garden design. Facing the difficulties, landscape architects need comprehensive and cohesive guidelines or theories thai can help them design therapeufic gardens. In this paper, the deficiency of current design guideline is discussed, followed by the proposal of using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories as a design framework. With history over thousands of years, Chinese medicine has been known for its holisfic approach to treat various human conditions. TCM theories provide comprehensive view on the complicated interrelationship among human, environment and nature. An integrated framework is drawn from TCM theories and current design guidelines. A therapeutic garden is also analyzed using TCM theories to demonstrate the use of proposed framework.
