The main gas source was found by the study on buried pipe drainage technology on 28408 mining face of Guandi Mine. Buried pipe drainage in mined-out areas, as a suitable method, was also determined, which effectively controlled the upper-corner gas, assured the safety for the output increase, and illustrated a good prospect of application and extension.
