An eight-channel, high precision, pulsed and digital transmission system of ultrasonic phased array was developed by the use of field programmable gate array (FPGA), programmable delay line (DS1020) and pulse integrated amplified circuit (HV732). The key technology was analyzed and solution was proposed. The system is suitable for transducer center frequency ranging from 0.1 to 10 MHz, delay precision is Ins, and it has the ability of controlling pulse width and delay time in each channel respectively based on different inspection requirement.
