Survivin是凋亡抑制蛋白家族(IAPs)的新成员,在人类多种肿瘤组织中高度表达,而在分化成熟的组织中一般不表达或低表达.Survivin是迄今发现的最强的凋亡抑制因子,不仅具有调控细胞凋亡和细胞周期的双重功能,而且可促进细胞转化并且参与细胞的有丝分裂、血管的生成和肿瘤细胞放化疗抵抗性的产生等.

Survivin is a new member belonging to the inhibition of apoptosis proteins(IAPs), that is strongly expressed in the vast majority of human neoplasms but not or just at a low level in terminally differentiated tis-sues. It is the most powerful inhibition of apoptosis at present. Survivin regulates both cell apoptosis and cell cycle progression. In addition, it appears to be involved in cell transformation, mitosis, vasculogenesis, tumorcells'radiotherapy and chemotherapy resistance and so forth.
