提出了一种基于数字信号处理(DSP)实现的快速小波编码方法.该方法将小波变换的卷积运 算转换为矩阵相乘加,并根据DSP的指令和结构特点将矩阵分解,以移位运算来代替乘加运 算从而大大提高了运算效率.在后续的系数换位中,运用了并行运算的思想来提高速度,最 后还对小波变换的后续熵编码算法进行了比较和选择.结果表明,快速算法在数码相机的实 验系统上运行有很好的效果.

Taking the characteristic of the instruction and structure for DSP into account, a new algorithm based on DSP is proposed. In this new algorithm a fast DWT base d on shift operation is developed which changes the convolution into matrix oper ation, and decomposes the matrix into some sub matrixes to increase the speed. T he scheduling algorithm for coefficient range is also used. Finally the choice f o r entropy-code method is also discussed. Experiment shows that this algorithm r uns well in a real system for digital camera.
