The paper brief introduces the structure, geometrical parameter and main process of diamond milling head which Ultra-precision mill the reflector face of hexahedron of revolving drum. Through detailed consideration and comparison, we obtain theoretical basis that diamond milling head with tool face having protuberant arc can mill reflector face with roughness R_a to several nanometre and plane waviness P-V to submicron.
