Based on the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant theory, we investigate repeatedly the system of a two-level atom interacting with two-mode field with arbitrary detuning in a high-Q cavity with Kerr medium. We obtain the general state vector and the time evolution operator as well as the evolution expressions of both the atomic inversion and the photon number for the system.
