在地处干旱半干旱地区的沙化土地种植菊芋,不仅能保持水土和防风固沙,而且还可以改善土壤理化性质,从而提高土壤的生产力。试验结果表明,种植菊芋3年,0~202、0~404、0~60和60~80 cm土壤含水量分别比1~2年低5.3%1、3.1%9、.4%和14.5%;种植菊芋2年和3年,0~20、20~40、40~60cm土壤全盐量分别下降了3.78%和12.78%、16.84%和22.46%1、1.24%和20.73%,土壤容重0~20、20~40、40~60 cm分别下降了5.04%和7.35%、4.11%和7.04%、5.67%和7.19%,土壤孔隙度平均增高了4.03%5、.02%和5.1%;菊芋种植土壤中0,~20 cm范围内1~0.5 mm、0.5~0.1 mm的粒径种植3年的分别要比1年的下降7.43%和3.67%;而粒径0.1~0.05 mm的增加5.84%;土壤有机质0~202、0~40 cm种植3年的分别比1年的高19.8%和29.7%。

The cultivation of H.tuberosus on desertification land in arid semiarid areas,not only can conserve water soil and defend wind consolidate sand,but also can improve the soil physical chemical properties,so as to improve the productivity of the soil.Result shows that soil moisture of soil layer with 0-20,20-40,40-60,60-80 cm while planting H.tuberosus for 3 years are 5.3%,13.1%,9.4% 14.5% respectively lower than that for 1-2 years;total salt of soil with soil layer of 0-20,20-40,40-60 cm which planted H.tuberosus for 2 or 3 years decrease 3.78% 12.78%,16.84% 22.46%,11.24% 20.73%,respectively;soil bulk density of soil layer with 0-20、20-40、40-60 cm decrease 5.04% 7.35%,4.11% 7.04%,5.67% 7.19%,respectively;soil porosity increased averagely by 4.03%,5.02% 5.1%,respectively;in the soil which were planted H.tuberosus for 3 year,soil particle size with 1-0.5 0.5-0.1 mm with soil layer of 0-20 cm decrease by 7.43% 3.67% respectively than that for 1 year;soil particle size with 0.1-0.05 mm for 3 years increases by 5.84% than that for 1 year;soil organic matter with soil layer of 0-20,20-40 cm for 3 years are 19.8% 29.7% higher than that for 1 year.
