以多种碳水化合物为底物,通过非变性亲和电泳(NDAE)来检验Tt APuX21是否能与碳水化合物结合,以证明Tt APuX21是否确为有功能的碳水化合物结合结构域.NDAE的分析结果表明,Tt A-PuX21能与水溶性淀粉、糊精和普鲁兰糖结合,Tt APuX21是一个有功能的碳水化合物结合结构域.

This study aimed to investigate whether Tt APuX21 was a functional carbohydrate-binding module (CBM). In order to test whether Tt APuX21 possessed affinity for polysaccharides, non-denaturing affinity electrophoresis (NDAE) was carried out using different carbohydrates as ligands. NDAE displayed that Tt APuX21 had affinity for soluble starch, dextrin and pullulan. The results showed that Tt APuX21 was a functional carbohydrate-binding module.
