The paper discussed the social, ecological and economic benefits of the protective forest by the data from the JiAn district of the ganjiang River rasin.These data showed the chance-making problem of shelterbelt and continuous monitoring and constant adjustment shall be applied comprehensively to facilitate construction of the shelterbelt at a rapid pace, laying emphasis on sustainable resources exploitation.
