The paper mainly describes the hardware design and implementationof an infrared scene generator with high frame frequency. A detailed discussion on the design of PCI bus controller and its realization are introduced. A multistage look-up table used for simulating nonuniformity is also presented. The experimental results of the system demonstrate that it has the features of high frame frequency, variable nonuniformity and other variable parameters.
