A series of microwave devices based on transverse electron beam waves were developed successfully in the last decades in Russia. The principal advantages of these devices are good linearity, high efficiency and self-protection. Their applications in microwave power transmission, radar and communication have been found. Their structure , work principle, technical parameters etc. are briefly introduces in the paper.
