This paper describes a simple method for treating severely displaced supracondylar fracture of the humerus in children and also reviews its results.The treatment involves the use of overhead traction with a screw through the olecranon and a traction clip.Among the 15 children treated this way,13 had excellent results with preservation of nortonl carrying angle,and no significant loss of movement in any plane.Reduction was achieved in all cases and no cubitus vnrus occurred.
