In this paper,a digital watermarking algorithm based on DCT domain is presented,and the DCT transform,which is the key part of the digital watermarking,is implemented by FPGA harchware.The design and realization of the DCT transform uses the VHDL language.The analysis and simulation results show that FPGA-based digital watermarking algorithm implementation method has the advantage of high speed real-time processing over the software-based watermarking algorithm. The system design becomes a highly attractive solution to hardware realization.
