A power collecting battery charger is designed based on EasyARM1138 embedded processor as the control core in this article. Hardware circuit structure, operation principle and software program are expatiated. According to the rechargeable battery electric current and the sampling voltage condition information, EasyARM1138 produces the appropriate PWM signal, controls the BUCK converter working and achieves charge controlling highly effective. This power collecting battery charger has digital, intelligent, energy-saving-oriented features.
