The application of MBBR process to upgrading and reconstruction of Wuxi Lucun WWTP is introduced. This upgrading and reconstruction project with a scale of 20 × 10~4 m~3/d is performed in three phases. The main reconstruction process is A~2/O process with suspended carrier ( MBBR process). The effluent quality can reach the first level A criteria of the national discharge standard.
