This paper analyses two evaluating indicators: the starting jerk and the friction work in clutch engaging process. The clutch engaging displacement and speed are considered as the controlled parameters and the engaging method of "fast-slow-fast" is obtained based on analyzing the clutch launching engagement process and the SRV AMT test data. At the end, the paper points out the crucial control phase and the control method for the clutch launching.
