海浪监视雷达是一种利用掠入射海面的双极化电磁波回波图像进行海浪参数测量的雷达设备,针对其雷达天线双极化切换的必要性,分析了该类雷达天馈系统的结构特点,讨论了多种极化切换控制方案,选定并实施了一种新颖、稳定、有效的基于磁感应的极化切换控制方法.该方法通过电磁铁和磁敏元件实现控制命令和反馈信息的传递,实现了在不破坏雷达原有天线伺服结构的前提下对旋转天线的极化方式切换,可以在诸多场合替代昂贵的汇流环实现雷达天线控制信号的传送.

Wave monitoring radar is a kind of radar which uses the back scattering image of ocean surface to measure and monitor waves. To satisfy the need of dual polarization switching, this paper analyzed the characteristics of the servo system in marine ra-dar, discussed several ways of controlling the polarization switching, chosed and implemented a novel, stable and effective method in which the hall-effect is employed. This method transmits the control command and the feedback signal by using several electro-magnets and hall-elements. It controls the polarization switching of a rotary joint without changing the original servo system, and can replace the expensive slip ring.
