The A/O process was employed in Sibao Wastewater Treatment Plant in Hangzhou City. The dissolved oxygen content was measured to be low, which could not satisfy the need of treatment. The reconstruction of its aeration system was carried out in February 2008. After the reconstruction, the dissolved oxygen content in aeration tank was increased greatly and the pollutants removal efficiency was also improved. The specific information of the reconstruction project was introduced and the economic analysis of the reconstruction project was also carried out.
