汶川M_S8.0地震中,处于映秀-北川断裂带上的北川县城区地震烈度达Ⅺ度.地震断层活动在地表形成了3条破裂带,城区地表破裂带占总面积的比例超过6.5%,使建筑物遭受严重破坏,并引发了滑坡与崩塌灾害,加剧了震害损失.各种成灾机制之间存在相互耦合现象,不良地质现象发育是导致北川县城区震害程度极为严重的主要原因.
汶川M_S8.0地震中,處于映秀-北川斷裂帶上的北川縣城區地震烈度達Ⅺ度.地震斷層活動在地錶形成瞭3條破裂帶,城區地錶破裂帶佔總麵積的比例超過6.5%,使建築物遭受嚴重破壞,併引髮瞭滑坡與崩塌災害,加劇瞭震害損失.各種成災機製之間存在相互耦閤現象,不良地質現象髮育是導緻北川縣城區震害程度極為嚴重的主要原因.

Fault activity played the controlling role to intensity distribution in M_S8.0 Wenchuan Earthquake. Beichuan County, one of the meizoseismal areas, which is located in the Yingxiu-Beichuan fault zone and its intensity was Ⅺ. The motion of earthquake fault formed three surface rupture zones in the urban of Beichuan Coun-ty. Square of surface rupture zones occupied more than 6.5% of the urban square. The surface rupture zones made the heavy damage to the urban region. Buildings in Beichuan County suffered the great damage, and the fault activity also induced serious landslides and slides, which aggravated the damage losses. The couple of all kinds of seismic disasters mechanism and the adverse geological phenomenon development were the main reason of the especially severe damage of study area.
