The capsicum has a very high nutritional value and health-care function. Its developmental potential is huge. In this article, the situation of research and exploitation in capsicum is generalized, and a brief introduction to the industrial present situation of Guizhou is given. Sim-ultaneously, the developmental strategy of capsicum industry in Guizhou has been discussed.
