作为豆科饲草作物，苜蓿在北方草原生态治理、退耕还草及畜牧业快速建设中发挥着重要作用。文章在对苜蓿草产业国内外市场分析的基础上，对柴达木地区的生态环境及紫花苜蓿的营养成份进行了研究分析与评价，提出了该区发展苜蓿产业的构想，同时可为同类地区苜蓿资源的深度开发利用提供参考。

As a legume forage crop, Medicago saliva plays an important role in the ecological management, returning cultivated land to grassland and animal husbandry building in the northern grassland. Based on its industry analysis of domestic and international markets, the author analyzed the ecological environment of Chaidamu areas and the Medicago saliva nutrition composition, and put forward the evaluation to its industry development, which is expected to provide reference for the Medicago sativa utilization in the similar areas.
