The fractional variational iteration method(FVIM) is an efficient tool to solve fractional differential equations.In this paper,the time-fractional Boussinesq-like equation is solved by the FVIM and a single-soliton solution of Boussinesq-like B(2,2) equation is obtained as a special case.
