This article describes the manufacturing process and the properties of phenolic resin composite,reinforced by asbestos,metal wire and inorganic filler through moulding process.The matrix of phenolic resin is modified by BMI and cashew shell oil.Thus,a new frictional resistant composite with the friction factor of 0.4~0.6 is abtained.
