本文通过对富士电机、加拿大GE(CGE)等西方制造厂和前苏联及国内制造厂制造的大型推力轴承的设计理念、设计原则进行了详细对比阐述,得出了低面压推力轴承在大型及至巨型推力轴承上的应用具有较高的可靠性,并进一步阐述了这种低面压轴承的可行性和必要性;得出小于4MPa的轴承面压是合理而又安全的轴承面压。同时通过实例论述了高面压推力轴承存在的不安全性,并且这种高面压推力轴承还把弹簧簇支撑这种在大型推力轴承上应用最成熟、最安全的支撑结构排除在外是不合理的。本文还详细阐述了富士电机推力轴承的结构特点,提出了轴承结构设计不仅要考虑其安全可靠性,还要充分考虑轴承结构简单方便的实用性。

This paper presented the design principles for large thrustbearing manufactured by Fuji electric, CGE, former Russia and China in detail, and conclude that low specific pressure which is less than 4MPa is available and reliable for large even huge thrust bearings. Discussion as an example was made for the potential danger of high specific pressure which excludes the application of spring group, the most secure and advanced structure of thrust bearing support unconscionably. The structural characters and advantages of Fuji made thrust bearings are explicated additionally. The author proposed the design of large thrust bearing should be taken into account not only its reliability but also simplicity and convenience.
