介绍一种在新型模锻摩擦压力机上采用5工步多模膛成形重卡转向节的卧式锻造工艺.分析了转向节成形的工艺特点,确定了工艺方案--压扁→旋转90°再次压扁→局部镦粗→预锻→终锻.利用有限元软件Deform-3D对成形过程进行模拟,对模拟得到的速度场、应力场和载荷等信息进行分析,为模具设计优化和设备选型提供了依据.通过模拟结果,对容易出现折叠等缺陷的部位进行了预测.

A process that making steering knuckle horizontally with 5 steps in one multicavity die on a new friction press for die forging was introduced. After analyzing the formability character of the technology, the process (upsetting→local upsetting→gathering stock→preforging→finish-forging) was defined. The forging process was simulated by Deform-3D. Velocity field, strain-stress distribution and load curve were obtained, which provided basis for die design and optimization as well as equipment selection. Besides, the potential defect, such as fold was also predicted in simulation.
