A bending sheet was taken as an example in introducing the designing process of progressive die based on UG_PDW. The process arrangement was mainly introduced, and the bending part unfolding, waste separation, and strip layout were all elaborated and relat-ed examples were given in the paper. It showed the importance of the CAD technology in designing of relatively complex progressive dies.
