The public listing mode of Chongqing Water Group (CQWG) is analyzed, and the pub-lic listing characteristics of CQWG are summarized. Based on comparison between CQWG and other pub-lic listed companies in Chinese water industry, the problems in public listing of CQWG were pointed out, and the experiences and implications of CQWG public listing on the development of Chinese water indus-try and the marketization reform of the industry are summarized.
