Immunohistochemical methods are used to identify antigen and consequently to separate out specific cells in a homologous or different source cells.Through adding either a fluorochrome conjugate or an enzyme antibody can make the antigen-antibody complex visualization.Immunohistochemical methods can be used in conventional diagnosis of patients with lung cancer,to indentify biological markers (diagnostic and prognostic).The essential immunohistochemical methods will be discussed in this review.
