Integrating with the specific engineering project, this thesis introduces the application of cooling water pipe in the construction of cold box foundation with mass concrete, and respectively describes installation method of cooling water pipe and temperature measuring pipe. Through analyzing its cooling effect, the paper points out advantages of cooling water pipe, such as being good for controlling temperature difference, improving construction quality, and speeding up construction schedule.
