Permanganate index is one of the important indicators that can evaluate the degree of water pollution,but also the important item in water quality monitoring.Through the experiment results of permanganate index,we can see that the determination is affected by many factors,such as heating time,heating temperature and titration liquid concentration.The paper discusses the influencing factors of determination of permanganate index,and determine the best experimental condition.
