二语习得是一项复杂的工程,二语语调的习得是其中一个不可疏忽的重要内容。本文针对一般疑问句句末单、双、多音节单词的音高变化进行实证调查研究发现:对于无疑问结构的一般疑问句,当句末单词为单音节时,受试的语调良好;当句末单词为双音节,尤其是多音节时,受试表现出多种不正确的语调。

SLA( Second Language Acquisition) is a complex project with many aspects that have to be addressed. Intonation is one such aspect. This empirical paper attempts to find out the status quo of the acquisition of the last word' s pitch movement in English general questions: when the last word of a sentence has a single syllable, the subjects perform well on intonation; but when the last word is of two or more syllables, their performances vary.
