The feature of Pro/E as a 3-dimension modeling software and ADAMS as a dynamic simulation analysis software are introduced.The methods and steps of the united simulation by Pro/E and ADAMS are proposed.The virtual prototype model of the piston-rod mechanism is established,and the kinematics simulation is done.The conclusion shows that the united simulation based on Pro/E and ADAMS is simple and the emulation result is credible,and the method is approved feasible through the piston-rod mechanism.
